Imagine you are
playing a game that you love with your
friend or doing math quiz or talking very meaningfully with someone and they
told you used to be great in this, what
happened? And so the first thing that you feel is shock. Why? Because you
suddenly realize that you had a drawback in something that usually makes you
good. And so it begin the ultimate thought of improving yourself and back in
the game.
So how to overcome
on this? What should you do that make
things right on track again?
- Do recalling.
Now
its just brain exercise. Yes think about on few things first like when was the
last time you felt the thrill of anything? when was the last time you were
genuinely happy? What happened after that ? What changed you? If you want to go
to another step than this is the most crucial stage. The stage of accepting the
truth and tell out loud. Yes you must answer the above questions very honestly.
Just honest to yourself. Don’t cheat on self. You should write down all the
answer on plan paper. I know its old fashioned. Nobody uses a pen now. But it
will help you to keep focused.
- Going to points one by one.
Look
carefully what you got so far. Think about what really goes wrong. When did you
make mistakes? What circumstances you faced in the past so that to happen?
Consider all the loose ends which needed to be tighten. Made up your mind that
there's something wrong with you and you have to do overcome from that anyhow
.whatever it takes.
- Self pity.
Yes
, you read that right my friend. You should feel bad about yourself. Pamper
your mind that whatever happened is bad but in the end its all going to be
okay. And everything will be back to what it used to be.
Remember
that everything that ever happened to you was only because you let it. Yes
that’s the harsh truth that you need to accept. You should always consider your
own mistakes first before blaming on someone else. Because in the end you can
not change other peoples, but only you.
- What you gonna do about it?
Ask
this above question to that part of your mind that is full of ego and self
centered. Yes everybody has it. Meet your bad side, face it, challenge it. Hurt
your own ego. Or else people will do it for you anyway. So after one doesn't hurt much. Tell yourself that you desperately
in need to one great plan to change yourself.
- Make a plan and stick to it.
As
you all already know that this is the trickiest part of anything. Anyone can
makes a plan and the one cant ,they can get help. But that’s it you only get a help to make a plan , in the end
you are the one that has to follow it. For your plan to work out you have to
keep two things in mind.
First
of all you have to make small plan. Yes make just maximum 2 days plan and try
to follow it. Learn from it. Observe yourself through out. Find your work of
error. Once you get used to it the smaller one it makes it easy when you want
to follow bigger picture.
Second
thing is that you should allow enough flexibility to your plan that it become
easy to follow yet accomplish your goal to the selective quota. For example. If
you want to study some chapters in the morning but somehow you cant make it so
what most people do is leave that there and then forgot about it completely. Or
think that we will do it from tomorrow and then that tomorrow never came. So
what can you do is you have to study those chapters in the evening. Never leave incomplete works because it get messy
in the end.
And last but not
least that build up your own confidence, smile everyday. Trust yourself
completely and love your life.
